The use of online banking continues to grow, which means that security plays a major role in online banking. TÜV Saarland has created an important decision-making aid for consumers with its certified service portal for online banking. TÜV's own audit assesses existing processes from the customer's perspective and identifies areas for improvement. The audit took into account requirements such as the usability of online banking, IT security, and customer orientation. Overall compliance reached 91.43%.

Customer service in the area of construction financing
In addition to customer-oriented advice, TÜV Saarland also checks that the terms and conditions of qualified construction financing advice are in line with market conditions, subject to certain conditions. Aspects such as information about insurance options and competent advisory services are also taken into account in the assessment. OLB's customer advisory services in the area of construction financing meet the requirements of the TÜV Saarland audit, and OLB received the “Certified Customer Advisory Services” seal for its evaluation.

Customer focus in the area of investment concepts
TÜV Saarland has developed its own audit to evaluate customer orientation in the area of investment concepts from the customer's perspective. The concept was developed by experts. The assessment took various requirements into account, such as advisory services, documentation, and concept implementation during an investment meeting. After evaluating the necessary requirements, OLB was awarded the “Certified Customer Focus” seal in the area of “investment concept.”

eLearning AWARD 2025
In 2018, OLB launched a project to expand its e-learning offerings for employees and make them more contemporary. This has been a success: following awards in 2021, 2023, and 2025, the eLearning Journal has once again honored OLB with the eLearning Award in various categories of e-learning, production, and digital learning. OLB has succeeded in encouraging the in-house production of learning content and has continuously expanded its offerings and learning platform.
